At Challenge Chaser Retreat we aim to provide fresh, tasty and flavorsome food.

Our food and style of cooking is homely and rustic yet simple and scrumptious.


Where possible our food is sourced locally and grown on the property.

Below is a sample 'breakfast and dinner' menu for general accommodation guests

Breakfast Menu

Continental Breakfast 

Cereals, home made muesli, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, fruit toast, a selection of ham and cheeses

Hot Breakfast 

(served on alternate days)

Bacon, Eggs, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach


Pancakes with your choice of topping - Berries and cream, lemon and sugar, maple syrup and butter

Dinner Menu


Smogasboard of BBQ meats, corn on the cob and an assortment of fresh salads  


 Homemade chocolate fudge brownie with a dark chocolate glaze, severed with fresh berries and vanilla cream


Lemon and herb encrusted fresh Atlantic salmon on a bed of creamy mash potato served with seasonal saute vegetables.  


 Crepes 2 ways

Strawberry and Chocolate indulgence; Banana and Toffee surprise


Grilled Vegetable and marinated chicken/beef kebabs with an assortment of fresh salads and crisp bread rolls


 Homemade apple and strawberry crumble with a berry compote 

and ice cream


Seafood Paella with a fresh garden salad


Layered lemon mouse with fresh berries
